I checked with and 's got an ILS OF 111.75 and heading of 093 degrees. We both concluded that because FSX Gold was the newer version, perhaps Microsoft put in some "upgrades" for lack of a better word and that is why the difference.Check it out.bring up O'Hare and look for the ILS freq for 9L using the GPS function and the map view. The difference that I and the mission author discovered was that he usingFSX Gold version vrs my version (the first issued FSX) using map/GPS view showing no ILS freq for runway 9L. Yes, my map and GPS will give ILS freqs and will show runways for a given airport.
FSX DELUXE VS GOLD EDITION 64 BIT
I am on 32 bit, but will go to 64 bit on the next update.BTW, if you have FSX Deluxe plus Acceleration already installed, why bother to go to FSX Gold? It's the same thing, just in one package. What I was trying to convey was when I was doing a beta test on a mission, I replied to the mission author that the ILS freq that was given in the mission was not matching whatmy FSX showed.

Also they are accessable in the GPS in the Deluxe version, at least they are in mine if you know where to look.As far as 64 bit systems, I dont have figures, but it seems from the posts I see here and on other forums, the majority of the sim community running FSX is using 64 bit systems. In the Map section if you put the mouse pointer over the airport and click it, the list of runways, headings and ILS freqs will come up. I have FSX Deluxe and mine shows that info in the Map and also in the GPS. Not sure what you mean exactly by the Deluxe version not showing the ILS freqs, headings, and runways. I've recently discovered that there is a differents in the airports data base in FSX w/accel vrs whats in FSX GOLD.I found this out with O'Hare.in short, the gold version shows ILS freqs and headings and runways that the orignal FSX does not.Not sure what you mean exactly by the Deluxe version not showing the ILS freqs, headings, and runways. I have it installed on a Vista Home Basic 64bit os.I've recently discovered that there is a differents in the airports data base in FSX w/accel vrs whats in FSX GOLD.I found this out with O'Hare.in short, the gold version shows ILS freqs and headings and runways that the orignal FSX does not.So my question is this :( Should I decide to un-install my current version of FSX and making sure to wipe every trace of it from my system.installl the gold version.can I import the rewards bin logbook bin and the reward rwd files into it, thereby keeping all that I've earn and all the hours/flights etc that I've made to date?Any thoughts on this or has anybody do this, please let me know.Oh yes.one other question.I've heard from a few that FSX is not truly compatable with a 64bit os.Does anyone have any thoughts about this or something concret, please let me know.I can tell you for sure.I built my puter a few years back just to run FSX and it works great.Just trying to confirm what I've heard from a few folks. Thanks againThanks As most should already know.First there was FSX DeluxThen came AccelatrationThen came FSX GOLDI got FSX Delux when it first came out and then got accelatration when it came out.
